What personal data Backlink Brilliance Ltd collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Draft template — not yet legally reviewed
This document is placeholder scaffolding. It has not been drafted or checked by a lawyer and must not be relied on as a binding policy. Have it reviewed against the jurisdictions you operate in, then delete this notice.
1. Who we are
Backlink Brilliance Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@backlinkbrilliance.com.
2. What we collect
When you submit a form on this site we collect the details you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number, country, website URL and anything you write in the message field.
When you become a client we additionally hold billing details, order history and correspondence. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
We collect standard analytics data about how this site is used, including pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and referring source.
3. Why we use it
To respond to your enquiry, to provide the services you have ordered, to invoice you, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We rely on your consent for marketing email, on the performance of a contract for service delivery, and on legitimate interests for analytics and service improvement.
4. What we never do
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your details with other clients, and we do not disclose which sites you have placed links on to anyone outside your own account.
5. Who we share it with
We share data only with processors who help us run the business — hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing and our CRM — and only to the extent they need it to perform that function.
We may disclose data where we are legally required to do so, and we will tell you when that happens unless we are prohibited from doing so.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after twenty-four months. Client records are retained for seven years after the end of the relationship to satisfy accounting and tax requirements, then deleted.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.
To exercise any of these, email contact@backlinkbrilliance.com. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, and — where you consent — analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can withdraw consent at any time through your browser settings.
9. Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell existing clients directly.
